Local Events to Enjoy During the Easter Holidays

If you are looking for Easter themed events, The District has a whole host of activities for kids over the Easter weekend.

These events include chocolate Easter egg hunts that are held every 15 minutes. Children can search for all the bunnies around the centre. It wouldn’t be Easter without seeing the Easter bunny, and he is holding meet and greet sessions on Easter Saturday and Sunday. Take a photo of your child with the Easter bunny, and there will be plenty of chocolate treats too. The Lost Forests has lots of events over the school holidays for little ones, including Easter basket workshops, and workshops to make Easter Bonnets or Bunny Ears. During their free storytelling sessions, one of the Otherworlds Fairies will read a book while children relax on comfy cushions. The O’Brien Icehouse has a special program during the school holidays and which includes free lessons for beginners and face painting at the weekends. The Easter bunny is going to be busy because he is making an appearance here too!
