Dr Irene Profitis graduated with her Bachelor of Dental Science degree from the University of Melbourne in 2003. Since then, she has worked in both private and public clinics, giving her a wide range of experience and skills and dealing with a diverse group of clinical scenarios.
She is passionate about educating her patients about the importance of preventing dental disease, and helping those who may fear dentists to feel calm and relaxed about having their treatment.
In addition, she also loves to care for the dental needs of children, as she is a mum herself and understands that children need an even more gentle approach when they find themselves in the dental chair.
Dr Irene regularly attends professional development courses, to stay up to date with the latest dental literature and for her own professional development. She also speaks Greek fluently. In her spare time, Dr Irene has an art hobby, and this includes both drawing and painting. She also loves to spend time with her husband and children.
